Gnome或KDE等环境中的控制台可以直接使用其中的输入法，纯命令模式下要装zhcon，相关帖子请用zhcon做为关键字搜索论坛。

What kind of vi are you using now? The plain vi does not have syntax coloring. If you are using vim, then you do not need console Chinese environment at all: vim can deal with Chinese quite well, both in a X terminal and its own GUI (gvim).

If necessary, I can help you set up your vim.

真倒霉自从安装了zhcon后vi就没有颜色变化了。
