我的显示器是PHILIPS 107P2,显卡是nVIDIA GForce2 MX/MX 400。
另外，我用Xconfigurator改设置的时候，选择显示设置后PCI检测后就被踢出来了。

看样子，是没有设置好Xconfigurator。因为没有检测到显卡。先清除/tmp目录里的内容。然后再用Xconfigurator来配制。
看一下/etc/X11/XF86Config-4文件的内容是什么？

或者升级一下NVIDIA的驱动来试一下。
