为什么有驱动fps还是这么低？

SiS650的显卡（有驱动），窗口下只有260!!!
我看了gentoo的相关资料，并没有解决问题。。。。

1. in the /etc/make.conf, add this string:
   
2. VIDEO_CARDS="sis"

1. run this in your shell:
   
2. ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge x11-drm

this may work.
start your X and run a test.

but on my thinkpad t22 laptop with savage IX-MV 8M, DRI does not work though there is no error info output in the xorg.0.log.

try your luck.

这个是drm，在make.conf里写上VIDEO_CARDS="sis"
装好后在/etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6里写上模块的名字，
模块在/lib/modules/2.6.9-nitro3/kernel/drivers/char/drm/
我的模块是i915.ko，就写上i915

正如yelusiku兄所说，没有任何报错就是没有效果，是不是和xorg.conf的设置有关系？

i have just followed that, but my savage is not able to work with dri still...
sigh~

but some others do succeed...
