I am trying to install the Qmail server, after i installed it follow the "life with qmail", i found the qmail stat is unnormal ,I get these errors in my log:
@4000000040f2fea1241870bc alert: cannot start: qmail-send is already running
And qmailstat reports this:
[root@test qmail]# qmailctl stat
/service/qmail-send: up (pid 18438) 0 seconds
/service/qmail-send/log: up (pid 9713) 1871 seconds
/service/qmail-smtpd: up (pid 9716) 1870 seconds
/service/qmail-smtpd/log: up (pid 9718) 1870 seconds
messages in queue: 5
messages in queue but not yet preprocessed: 0
After i isuse the "qmailctl stop" command, Looking at my running processes, it looks like there's a qmail-send already running that svc doens't seem to notice anymore. Doing a 'killall qmail-send' allows a "normal" qmail-send to be started automatically and the number of seconds to start counting up again.
During this period, there are occasional mail delivery problems, which is understandably annoying my clients. I've redone the Life with Qmail install several times, with the same result each time.
I'm running Fedora core 3.
How can i resolve it ?? |
