Requirements
* Development version of FVWM, e.g. 2.5.x, preferably latest.
* Perl, for some scripts
* Microsoft fonts (Tahoma, Arial, Verdana) are suggested
* Built-in wallpaper support requires qiv to set root pixmap
Installation/usage notes
* The setup may require some tinkering (mostly with applications menu) before they will work for you.
* Don't forget to add ~/.fvwm/scripts directory to your $PATH (or copy/symlink the contents to ~/bin and add that to $PATH) or you will get very weird results.
* When unpacking updated tarball, don't overwrite your custom dotfiles in ~/.fvwm (e.g. .fvwm-layout) or your configuration will be reset to default.
Features
* Load and reload theme modules on the fly;
* Change colorsets, iconsets, module layouts and window decorations on the fly;
* Modular and easily extensible;
* Some basic multidesktop support (e.g. several physical screens);
* Other stuff, see for yourself.
My scripts are in no way replacement for fvwm-themes project (although somewhat inspired and based on, I've learned about FVWM scripting while studying fvwm-themes innards) but if you don't need all that power they may suffice.
