Neither Yum nor apt can locate the "bmp-ape" package and bmp-media-player didn't work very well. It was unable to play any audio file which can be played by Rhythmbox. I have installed gst-monkey already but still no idea how to get things done.

把mac编译了，在编译你的播放器对应的插件，xmms-mac或bmp-mac，然后在播放器里启用插件就能放了。不过这样只能放ape，如果带cue的还是一个大文件放。到官方下个cueinfo插件编译安装就行了。
