自己折腾了很久，不得以求助——fastcgi error??

简要说明我的安装过程：mysql4-->apache2-->mod_fastcgi-->mod_php4-->ZendOptimizer。装完mod_php4之后，测试一切正常。ZendOptimizer之后，apachectl start就不行了。错误日志：
[notice] FastCGI: process manager initialized pid(1462)
[alert] (2)No such file or directory: FastCGI: read() from pipe failed (0)
[alert] (2)No such file or directory: FastCGI: the PM is shutting down. Apache seems to have disappeared - bye.

为什么会这样？以前装都很顺利啊。
我查看过帖子，也看过faq，都没能弄明白。
我反复重装mod_fastcgi都不管用。该怎么解决啊？
