如何让多个用户登录VNC?

我建立了user1和user2两个用户。装了vncserver
现在用user1的帐号登录X，从别的及其上只能登录user1的桌面。登录xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2
时，显示：Connection refused:10061
我在tty1里面用user2登录，运行vncserver:2。再运行vnc4config，说Unable to open d
isplay ""

我的系统是ubuntu 5.04，远程桌面是从“系统－>首选项－>远程桌面“设置的。如果不这样设置，就登录不了。
似乎vncserver完全无效
怎么办呢？

use1$vncpasswd
use1$vncserver :1   <=the port is 5901 if you want to use vncviewer
logout

use2$vncpasswd
use2$vncserver :2   <=the port is 5902 if you want to use vncviewer
logout
