FC4 下编译系统自带KERNEL, 文件缺失的问题

Issue descriptions as below:

System configuration:
CPU4 2.6G   Memory:512M
FC4 : Fully installed

when i enter /usr/src/kernels/2.6.11-1.1369_FC4-i686
and run "make mrproper",abnormal information shows as below:

fs/hostfs/Makefile:11: arch/um/scripts/Makefile.rules: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `arch/um/scripts/Makefile.rules'.  Stop.
make[1]: *** [fs/hostfs] Error 2
make: *** [_clean_fs] Error 2

what can i do now?
