I changed my shell into bash under FreeBSD, and i supposed that all the other shell files (like csh.rc and sh.rc, etc) in my home directory are useless, so i use rm command to delete all of them. I just think if i run bash, bash would create .bashrc and .bsah_profile files in my home folder automatically. But when i realised that's a stupid mistake, it's to late! I missed all my previous shell dot files! Who can help me? As i want to know how to create a .bashrc file correctly. And also , could you give me examples of your .bashrc, bash_profile, bash_login files? Thank you! |
