how to mount the "/" when i install u 6.10? waiting on line

it tell me that "没有根文件系统" ,but i have pointed a partition as "/".

is it should be a pri partition ?

i am sorry i do not know how to load simple Chinese word .now, i am in u 6.10   livecd

我也遇见这种情况了，后来我是重新执行安装程序，然后把linux ext2分区删除，在建立，这样在选择 / 就能识别了

i have installed u 6.10.

the problem may be that ,in the install process (making partition, before formation) it only "remembers"  the last partition that you make. that means it can only use the last partition you make as the "/"  filesystem.  so delete the "/" partition and readd  it ,it will be fine.

it may be another bug: when formating the disks, only the last partition you make will be formatted as  your set, others will be formatted as "ext3" whatever you have set.
