Nvidia 显卡驱动安装方法[附常见问题解决方法]

这个论坛在某些方面还真是没得说的了,以前问了下分辨率无法修改的问题,竟然没人[有一位兄台回复,但内容没多大帮助]理我!在今天我已经自己解决了。下面给出方法:

会进行安装的,直接看二楼。高手可以跳过很多部分,个人觉得写得很新手化。

首先,还是先说说老话,驱动安装:
各位如果想尝鲜,可以去www.nzone.com下载最新的测 ... 记得一定要装 kernel-devel 软件包[本人的内核版本是2.6.18-1.2849.fc6]。
首先,于图形界面下作好上述准备工作后,按照下面的步骤进行:
现说明下各文件的位置:
驱动程序:/root/Desktop/NVIDIA-LInux-x86-1.0-9742.pkg1.run

开始:
按Ctrl+Alt+F1~F6[F1~F6任意选择一个按,没什么区别]
就会进入文字界面,用root用户登录[来的方便而已,如果觉得不安全可以先断网]
输入 init 3 转入第三运行级[这样就能退出X,关于运行级个人有些分不清,暂时只知道0是关机,6是重起,还望各位高手指教]
接下来 按顺序输入
cd Desktop
chmod u+x NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9742-pkg1.run
./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9742-pkg1.run
然后就会进入个“类图形界面”进行安装:
第一个界面,选择 Accept 来同意许可协议
第二个界面,是让你选择是否进入官方的FTP下载已经编译好的内核文件[一般是找不到的],可以选择否以节省时间。
接下来就会自动编译、安装,安装时会自动搜索配置文件。最后会询问是否需要自动修改配置文件,这个随自己喜好来。

到此,应该会自动进入文本控制台。这时候,输入init 5就会自动进入第五运行级,并会自动运行图形界面。
如果一切顺利,应该就能看到带有 Beta 字样的启动界面了。

如果并不想安装测试版本,可以用选择安装下面的源:
Livna:
rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-6.rpm
FreshRPMs
rpm -ivh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/fre ... 1.1-1.fc.noarch.rpm
在终端中执行即可。
若使用的是Livna那么就执行 yum install kmod-kernel
若使用的是FreshRPMs那么就执行 yum install dkms nvidia-x11-drv
这样应该就能够把9629版本的驱动安装上去了。

常见问题解答

如何安装Beryl?
按Super[就是Windows徽标键] + F2打开运行应用程序对话框,输入:
/etc/yum.repos.d/
按下运行
就会自动打开对应目录,然后新建 betatux.repo 文件[右键创建文档 - 空文件]
在打开的文本编辑器中输入:
  1. [betatux]
  2. name=BETATUX - $basearch
  3. baseurl=http://users.skynet.be/betatux/fedora/fc6/$basearch
  4. enabled=0
  5. gpgcheck=0

  6. [betatux-debug]
  7. name=BETATUX - $basearch - Debug
  8. baseurl=http://users.skynet.be/betatux/fedora/fc6/$basearch-debug
  9. enabled=0
  10. gpgcheck=0

  11. [betatux-source]
  12. name=BETATUX - $basearch - Source

保存 退出
用 root 用户在终端上执行
yum --enable=betatux install beryl-core beryl-core-devel beryl-dbus beryl-manager beryl-plugins beryl-settings emerald emerald-themes
或用普通用户在终端上执行:
sudo yum --enable=betatux install beryl-core beryl-core-devel beryl-dbus beryl-manager beryl-plugins beryl-settings emerald emerald-themes

安装完成后执行
/usr/bin/beryl-manager
或者
/usr/bin/beryl
或者
/usr/bin/beryl-settings
就能直接启动。
如果要每次自动运行,则 系统[顶部菜单第三个] - 首选项 - 更多首选项 - 会话 - 启动程序 - 添加 - /usr/bin/beryl-manager - 再次添加 -  /usr/bin/beryl
就会在每次启动Gnome时自动启动Beryl和Beryl管理器。

如果安装后不能更改分辨率,应当如何处理?
如果采用nv能启用高分辨率,而用nvidia不能启用,则说明是显示器为杂牌或者EDID(Extended Display Identification Data,拓展显示识别数据)无法读取。
可以采用如下方法:
修改xorg.conf配置文件:
用文本编辑器打开配置文件,搜索
Section "Screen"
然后在
    DefaultDepth    24
后加入
    Option         "UseEdid" "False"
    Option         "UseEdidDpi" "False"
    Option         "UseEdidFreqs" "False"
禁用 EDID 的相关识别功能。
并在下面的
        Modes   后,加入需要的分辨率
然后搜
Section "Monitor"
并修改改如下参数:
    VendorName     "显示器生产厂商"      ###可以不修改
    ModelName      "A77PF"   ###可以不修改
    HorizSync       行频范围    ###根据设备来修改
    VertRefresh     场频范围   ###根据设备来修改

xorg.conf 应该如何修改?
在Files节后加入[或修改]Module节
Section "Module"
    Load           "record"
    Load           "vnc"
    Load           "dbe"
    Load           "extmod"
    Load           "glx"
###        Load  "dri"  ###这行可以删除
    Load           "xtrap"
EndSection
如果该节中存在 Load "GLCore" 也要注释[即在行首加入#]掉或删除掉
然后转到 Screen节,就会看到类似于下面的内容
Section "Screen"
    Identifier     "Screen0"
    Device         "Card0"
    Monitor        "Monitor0"
    DefaultDepth    24
在其后加入:
    Option         "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
最后,在文件末尾增加一节:
Section "Extensions"

保存 - 注销 - 登录
应该就能看到效果了。

不过在85HZ下屏幕依旧闪的问题还是解决不了啊

请问chuyanghu:像GeForce2 Ti 等较老的3D卡怎样安装nvidia驱动来实现3D特效?

应该是显卡不支持,或者是conf文件没有正确调整。

安装了nvidia显卡驱动之后,可以用nvidia-settings来配置xorg.conf,方便而且安全~~
显示器的横向扫描/纵向刷新率最好不要自己乱改,据说容易烧坏显示器。
