MPlayer 1.0pre8 安装手札

最近开始苦学Linux，无奈视频教程还得去Windows看，原来装的Realplayer 10 for linux看RMVB卡的不行了，还老闪。于是决定装MPlayer ，找到好多安装的贴，我也算是融会贯通，开始了自己的安装过程，安装后可以很流畅的播放大多数媒体格式(当然也包括RMVB)，
安装过程如下，与大家分享。

1.准备以下东西，均可以到官方网站下载
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/

all-20061022.tar.bz2  MPlayer所有Codes压缩包
windows-all-20061022.zip  MPlayer所有win32 Codecs压缩包
MPlayer-1.0pre8.tar.bz2  MPlayer源代码压缩包
字体，以及皮肤

2.安装codes
建立/usr/lib/codes文件夹，将all-20061022.tar.bz2解压缩到改文件夹，修改权限。
#mkdir /usr/lib/codes
#tar jxvf all-20061022.tar.bz2
#mv all-20061022 /usr/lib/codes
#chmod 644 /usr/lib/codes/*
#chown root.root /usr/lib/codes/*

再建立一个/usr/lib/wincodes文件夹，然后解压windows-all-20061022.zip到该文件夹 ，并修改权限
#mkdir /usr/lib/wincodes
#unzip windows-all-20061022.zip
#mv windows-all-20061022.zip /usr/lib/wincodes
#chmod 644 /usr/lib/wincodes/*
#chown root.root /usr/lib/wincodes/*

3.安装MPlayer
#tar jxvf MPlayer-1.0pre8.tar.bz2
#cd MPlayer-1.0pre8
#./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mplayer/ --enable-gui --enable-freetype --with-codecsdir=/usr/lib/codes/ --with-win32libdir=/usr/lib/wincodes/
#make ; make install
#cd etc
#cp example.conf /usr/local/mplayer/etc/config
#cp codecs.conf /usr/local/mplayer/etc/

解释参数：
--prefix=/usr/local/mplayer/ 设置安装路径
--enable-gui 启用GUI图形用户交互界面
--enable-freetype 方便以后调整字体
--with-codecsdir=/usr/lib/codes/ 设置插件路径
--with-win32libdir=/usr/lib/wincodes/ 设置插件路径

4.安装字体，我下载了 font-arial-cp1250.tar.bz2  

#tar jxvf font-arial-cp1250.tar.bz2
#mv font-arial-cp1250 /usr/local/mplayer/share/mplayer/font/
#cd /usr/local/mplayer/share/mplayer/font/
#ln -s font-arial-cp1250 font

我从windows下拷贝了tahoma.ttf字体,我用的是root用户,所以放到/root/.mplayer/
然后执行
#mv tahoma.ttf /root/.mplayer/
#ln -s tahoma.ttf subfont.ttf

5.安装皮肤,我下载了 PowerPlayer-1.1.tar.bz2
#tar jxvf PowerPlayer-1.1.tar.bz2
#mv PowerPlayer /usr/local/mplayer/share/mplayer/skins/
#cd /usr/local/mplayer/share/mplayer/skins/
#ln -s PowerPlayer default

6.设置桌面启动器
桌面右键——新建启动器，出现对话框后输入：
名称:MPlayer
命令:/usr/local/mplayer/bin/gmplayer
然后选择一个你喜欢的图标.

7.大功告成，Enjoy it.

我是一路yum安装的。
首先安装freshrpms源和fedora-cn源，然后执行下面的步骤：

1) yum install mplayer
2) yum install gstreamer*
3) yum install win32codecs

就一切搞定了

只有声音没有图像是什么原因？

奇怪了，07年4月的帖子干嘛用1.0pre8

只有声音没有图像有2个可能，不正确的vo模式，和没有视频解码器。具体是什么看错误提示

好帖子，可是不知道为什么，我在安装的时候，会出现#tar jxvf all-20061022.tar.bz2，#tar jxvf MPlayer-1.0pre8.tar.bz2异常，直接影响下面的工作完成

yum方便快捷虽然速度　不是很快，200K也可以接受
