fedora 7 下 xdvi的问题

最近刚刚开始使用linux， 装了fedora 7，并且安装了texlive2007。

但是运行在运行xdvi时候出错，不知道为什么， 听说texlive是独立的， 但是为什么会出错呢？
$ xdvi test.dvi

xdvi-xaw.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

望哪位大虾指点，感激涕零

What is libXp, a part of texlive?

By the way,  something is wrong with my scim.   I cannot figure out why I couldn't type Chinese now after the reboot of the system?    It's strange!   Why?

但是texlive不是号称完全独立的吗？
