一直用的是ubuntu，最近看到关于archlinux的讨论挺多，最吸引我的一句就是可以无限升级，不像ubuntu要考虑跨版本升级问题，于是就装了个。下面说下我安装过程中碰到的一些问题及解决办法。

机器为acer 5583 wxci,显卡为geforce go 7300，安装过程主要参照的是LinuxTOY上的文章

碰到的问题有：
1.gdm问题：启动后出现对话框，提示："欢迎应用程序似乎即将崩溃，我将尝试使用不同的欢迎程序"

解决办法：以root用户运行

1. chmod 1777 /tmp

2.安装完xorg后的配置：
运行

1. Xorg -configure

会在当前目录自动生成xorg.conf.new文件

1. cp xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf

然后运行

1. nvidia-xconfig

自动配置。如果要安装compiz fusion，运行

1. nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals

3.fcitx的配置：

看到很多帖子的方法是添加内容到~/.bashrc，但是这样gnome terminal会有一个出错提示(内容忘了），后来看到另外的配置方法，不会有这样的问题：

在 ~ 目录新建 .xprofile，添加如下内容：

1. export LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8
2. export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
3. export GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx
4. export QT_IM_MODULE=fcitx
5. env LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.UTF-8
6. fcitx &

4. 无线网卡配置
我的无线网卡型号为 intel 3945。驱动的安装和配置不写了，参看

我用的是"ipw3945 (Alternate Method)"中的方法。

无线网卡的配置我用的是一种比较省事的办法，在 /etc/rc.conf中添加

2. eth0="dhcp"
3. eth1="dhcp"
4. wlan_eth1="eth1 essid TPLINK key 0123456789"
5. INTERFACES=(eth0 eth1)

essid和key后面对应内容按自己情况修改。

5.U盘，移动硬盘以及windows分区挂载

hal安装和配置：

我按照上面文章配置完后，发现windows分区，usb移动硬盘都能识别和挂载，但是usb sd卡读卡器不能识别，总是弹出对话框提示：
"Unable to mount media. There is probably no media in the drive"
后来按照上面文章中的如下方法搞定：

USB sticks and drives do not automount correctly

This sub-section is sourced from this forum page.

If you are experiencing problems with automounting usb sticks and/or drives, but do not have problems with automounting CDs or DVDs, and if you are able to manually mount the USB device in question, then you should create the file "preferences.fdi" in the folder /etc/hal/fdi/policy and paste the following line into the file

1. <merge key="volume.ignore" type="bool">false</merge>

Also, if you have gparted installed, you might need to delete this file:

1. /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/gparted-disable-automount.fdi

6. 读卡器的配置：
读卡器是Ti的5合一读卡器，以root用户运行

1. modprobe tifm_sd

可以将 tifm_sd添加到 /etc/rc.conf的MODULES=()中，启动后自动加载。


7. 触摸板配置：

参照wiki直接搞定。

8. 摄像头
笔记本自带的摄像头是 acer orbicam，最后参考下面的帖子用gspcav1驱动解决了：

1. pacman -S gspcav1
2. modprobe gspca
3. gpasswd -a username video

(username 用自己用户名替换)

我用skype进行了测试，ok了。

可以将 gspca 模块 添加到 /etc/rc.conf 的 MODULES=()中，启动后自动加载。

注：
1.其中某些命令可能需要root权限运行;
2.内容主要参考wiki，以及google搜索。

archlinux超级新人，呵呵，就随便看了下就开始装了，碰到什么问题就google了，hwd是什么东东还不知道呢。
