装了12.1后Firefox切换变慢

切换到／出火狐都有明显的lag. 零点几秒到一点几秒不等。不知为什么。版本是mozilla-firefox-2.0.0.14-i686-1.tgz。看到X在那一瞬间CPU使用率上升很多。用的是KDE.

用xfce吧,我也是用12.1,感觉不错~~~~~

测试版的时候，好像firefox跟scim就有冲突了！现在的12.1，如果用户语言环境是zh_CN，如zh_CN.gb2312，firefox直接无法启动！删除所有的scim包后就正常了！网上搜索，也有人有这个问题，修改firefox源文件，在里面加一行就可以正常启动了，具体加什么忘记了！不知道大家是否也有这个问题？

I meet the problem too. I change the lang from zh_CN to en_US. the firefox and thunderbird run correct.

这是由于scim没有正确的初始化造成的。默认scim初始化的脚本没有执行权限（不知道算不算是个小bug）。修改firefox启动脚本是治标不治本的。thunderbird也会遇到这个问题。

解决方法：

3. #chomd +x /etc/profile.d/scim.csh

6.   The requirements for getting SCIM input methods to work in your X session

8.   (1) Use a UTF-8 locale. Look in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh for setting your
   
9.       language to (for instance) en_US.UTF-8. As a word of warning: maybe you

11.       commands to be misinterpreted. You can add the following line to your
    
12.       ~/.profile file to enable UTF-8 just for yourself:

23.       This gives you a Desktop Environment independent way of starting scim.
    
24.   When scim is running, you will see a small keyboard icon in your system tray.
    
25.   Right-click it to enter SCIM Setup. In 'Global Setup' select your keyboard
    
26.   layout, and you are ready to start entering just about any language
    
27.   characters you wish! Press the magical key combo <Control><Space>
    
28.   in order to activate or deactivate SCIM input. The SCIM taskbar in the
    
29.   desktop's corner allows you to select a language. As you type, SCIM will show
    
30.   an overview of applicable character glyphs (if you are inputting complex
    
31.   characters like Japanese).
