sata硬盘+硬盘盒在linux下的问题

刚买的圣帕硬盘盒+希捷750G硬盘，在linux下分了四个区：

现用mke2fs -j /dev/sdb8建立文件系统，再将/dev/sdb8挂在/home5下，然后将一大堆文件拷进去，刚开始时正常，拷到10多个G时，io出错，dmesg里提示：

请教各位大侠，这是什么性质的问题，是硬盘盒在linux下的兼容性问题还是硬盘出问题了？
谁在linux下用过硬盘盒，哪种牌子的兼容性较好？

没用外接电源么

接了 外接电源！
问题可能出在散热上，把盒子拆开裸露着硬盘考数据，拷100多G才出错！
放在里面考20多G就出错！ 盒子和稳压电源都很烫！

今天去换了个元古刀锋3500的盒，带一个铝制的鳍状散热器，正在试！

这年头，外接硬盘都得带风扇了吧。。。

现在有带风扇的硬盘盒，散热是个大问题
偶换的这个元古刀锋3500的盒还不错，拷了几百G的数据了，一次错也没出过！但用时间长了也挺烫的

内核及 udev 的版本是？

我用的是centos5.1, 前两天刚升到5.2了

Centos 5.2 虽然很新，才出了几天，但好像其 udev 的版本很低，一般在 udev-100 以後的版本支援会较佳
