[已解决]slackware 12.2 启动速度有点慢：load

开机出现lilo系统选择菜单时选择进入LINUX，出现如下：
Loading Linux............................
Bios Data Check successful
这个过程要很长时间，上面的........一直一点一点的划子一行半才出现Bios Date Check successful大概10多秒钟，然后才出现两只小企鹅。。。我安装的是slackware12.2，记得以前的系统不是这个样子的，以前这个地方一闪就过去了。不知道是什么原因，希望知道的同志帮下忙。

vi the /etc/lilo.conf
add the

compact
----------------
then run the lilo command.

可能是考虑兼容性问题吧，compact 后面的注释说有的机器不支持
