gdm登陆问题

新安装的ubuntu9.10alpha2，登陆时gdm界面发生变化，没有选择菜单，只有输入用户名和密码的地方，然后是重启，关机，login以后，*出一堆话框，metacity，提示：These windows do not support "save current setup"and will have to be restarted manually next time you log in.

然后，无法在菜单中选择修改登录画面，无法安装新主题。我检查了gdm已经安装了。不知道是何解？
