Fedora 12编译环境出问题了

安装完Fedora 12之后，
我从官网下载了emacs-23.1.tar.bz2, 然后

1. ./configure --with-x-toolkit=gtk --with-x
   
2. make bootstrap

却得到了

1. emacs-23.1$make bootstrap
   
2. (cd src;      make  bootstrap-clean)
   
3. make[1]: Entering directory `/home/qiang/soft/editor/emacs/emacs-23.1/src'
   
4. Makefile:100: *** commands commence before first target。 停止。
   
5. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/qiang/soft/editor/emacs/emacs-23.1/src'
   
6. make: *** [bootstrap-clean] 错误 2
   
7. emacs-23.1$cd src/
   
8. src$make bootstrap-clean
   
9. Makefile:100: *** commands commence before first target。 停止。

的错误。

我试着编译其他的一些软件，这些软件也是调用./configure 生成Makefile。

也会出现这种错误。

大家有碰到么，如何解决的呢？

这个可能是 emacs-23.1.tar.bz2 包的问题。
最新cvs就没有这个问题。
