gconfig-editor打开一片空白

因为挂载U盘时，不指定编码，中文名称的文件名显示为？
经过搜索，改一个系统配置
#gconf-editor

（是#dconf-editor,or gconf-editor吗？）
找到
/system/storage/default_options/vfat,里面有个mount_options项，
双击，增加一个新值:iocharset=utf8

但安装gconf-editor后，显示不正常，如下：

(gconf-editor:3751): GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
GConf Error: No D-BUS daemon running

但dbus是运行的的，要不然的话，我的gnome桌面也开不起来呀。
