急盼求教:mplayer安装问题!

我发现现在机器上的mplayer已经被我装烂了,装不上去也 运行不了了.
我装i686的包时,是这样的 :
[root@pianzhou down]# rpm -Uvh mplayer-0.90-1.i686.rpm

        libpthread.so.0(GLIBC_2.3.2) is needed by mplayer-0.90-1
[root@pianzhou down]#

装386的包时是这样:
[root@pianzhou down]# cd mplayer386

我想把以前所有装的涉及mplayer的包全都卸载,可都卸载不了,都提示没有安装过

盼大侠给予解药.

没有安装依赖包当然安装不下来啦，没有安装mplayer成功怎么可以启动，缷载啊，你可以更新glibc先再安装mplayer.

我也想过更新GLIBC_2.3.2,可是查了半天也没找到下载的地方,烦请哪位大侠告知!

还是从原代码包，自己编译安装吧

如果你的是redhat的话，可以去http://freshrpms.net/packages/ 更新

我也有几个问题请教：装mplayer时，一开始装就提示缺少好多rpm包，我装的是redhat8。0，差不多可以说是完全安装了。 然后从网上找了些，又提示warning: aalib-1.4rc5-fr2.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b等，是不是lib太旧了？ 没办法，强制安装，等装完运行的时候提示mplayer while loading shared libraries:libpng12.so.0:can not open shared object file : No such file or directory.反正是没法启动，不知是什么原因？
还有，如果我要自己编译，是不是得把glibc升级到2.3.3，怎么编译能说一下吗？
