shutdown problem?

windowmaker , xterm , type "shutdown +1" but it's not shutdown system , it's enter single user
and require root's password ,why ?

这是什么？另外shutdown确实需要root权限, 如果不是root, 可以配置sudo.

i already use root . use windowmanger ,in tty type "shutdown +1 " ,why it need root's login in
,,,suse8.2 , and redhat is not need to do this .
