No Candidate Chinese Character To Select!!

Dear Yuking and other guys,

I have a problem as I use fcitx, could you kindly help me? Thanks.

Symptoms:

When I launch fcitx and ready to input Chinese character, there's no candidate Chinese character to select!?

OS: FreeBSD5.2
Shell: csh/tcsh
Install method:
# cd /usr/ports/chinese/fcitx
# make install

Configuration:
# vi /etc/csh.cshrc
add 3 lines at the end of this file:
setenv XMODIFIERS @im=fcitx
setenv LANG zh_CN.eucCN
setenv LC_ALL zh_CN.eucCN

Do you have any idea? I would like to appreciate your help.
