Its esay-to-config and quite beatiful interface will certainly get my vot, and developer's quick reponse to the community makes it so unique, that's what I do wanna say "THANKS". But things come to another side, I never get scim-chinese to work, I never successed to uncompress scim-chinese rpmpack by rpm2cpio, I am not running any rpm-capable system, I never want install the whole foolish rpm system for unpack a rpm file, so James, could you please just tar your binary application?
I post my humble wish here, and hope someone can help me, thank you in advance.
PS, thank James, 0.9.3 version of scim-table seems have deleted the hard-coded install process that force user to install tables under certain path. i can package scim-table under ArchLinux now without tweak of the PKGBUILD script anymore.

so you are one of arch developers, aren't you? ;)

I though ark = arch, but it seems that's not the case.

I just have a look at arch linux official website, I think it is somewhat similar with my favorite distro gentoo.

As to the scim-chinese issue, I am afraid no one other than James can help you: I think the license of scim-chinese does not permit other to redistribute it, so in arch linux, extract files from the rpm or ask James to supply a tar.gz alternative on scim official site.

Do you intend to include scim-chinese in your 'extra' or 'current'? What about scim itself?

I am not an Arch developer, ^_^, but it's really a nice mistake, and remind me that I should contact Arch developer or maintainer for application for such postion, if possible. I will be totally willing to do some work for better chinese support, though I think there is little possiblity I can take patches into the packages. For better chinese display there are few problems but thing for the whole will be very difficult.
