Sabathia was picked because a pitcher who was voted on by the players was ruled ineligible for the contest (Shields). Therefore BY RULE, the next pitcher deserving by the voting, was selected (Sabathia). No person chose, it was a default of the system. After Sabathia is ruled ineligible, Ogando was the next in line on the list.
Love the song, but it always bothers me that he used "speedball" as opposed to "fastball". |
