After recompiled and update gtk-immodules, it seems unneccessary to add lines(export something) in .bashrc anymore, I don't even need to add scim -d command in my .xinitrc file. when I start application, scim starts, which brings some problem since there are many programs for example realplayer10 seem that don't comply with gtk2 immodules standare.
Firefox stops here, and Mozilla Quality Feedback window pops up:
SCIM: im_module_init

so firefox is supposed to be the problem, but I have to figure out a way to make scim working with firefox, then I uninstall SCIM, and firefox starts up normally, the terminal shows:
(firefox-bin:2229): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/immodules/im-scim.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

(firefox-bin:2229): Gtk-WARNING **: Loading IM context type 'scim' failed

(Gecko:2229): Gtk-WARNING **: /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/immodules/im-scim.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So reasonally I guess that im-scim.so causes the compatible problem. Could James check it out. Thanks very much.
