Problom about scim under debian comes again!!

my system is Debian,kernel2.6,sid
apt-get install scim scim-chinese scim-tables-zh
configure ~/.gnomerc
export LC_ALL=zh_CN.GB2312
export LANG=zh_CN.GB2312
export XMODIFIERS=@im=scim
scim -d
the scim icon appears ,but it does not work
so i try to start it by hand
run the script in gnome-terminal

now i check xcin
run xcin,it says :
XCIN (Chinese XIM server) version 2.5.3-pre2.
(module ver: 20010918, syscin ver: 20000210).
(use "-h" option for help)

xcin: locale "zh_CN.GBK" encoding "gbk"
xcin: warning: invalid font GBK-0.
xcin: error: fontset setting error.

then how to set the font for xcin?

我的意思是
XMODIFIERS="@im=SCIM"
这里的SCIM应该是大写的，而你的是小写的

now i can see the input bar in screen,but still can't input chinese charectors,what's wrong?thanks a lot!!

could you show me your .gnomerc or the similar part of .xinitrc?
i see many .xinitrc and copy them inito .gnomerc,but none does work,
i have tried all day and i am going to be crazy.....
ps:does scim need xcin?some body scim can take the place of xcin ,it seems scim does not need xcin to work,is it right?
