SOS!!!why the Scim can't work???help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when I install the Suse 9.2 . I chose the English language,and installed successfully.and then I changed the localition to China.and the language to China(s)
and configured my system like the link :

but now. the Scim typer can't start when the KDE started.
i type "scim" in the shell ,it can started but  not work!

need help .thx
PS:my Scim can't work ,so I can't type Hanzi...haha
