声卡问题 请求援助

我用的是REDHAT9.0 LINUX
声卡是VIA VT8233  是板载的
本身就好像有点毛病
但是听歌的 效果上肯定不存在任何问题
只是在WINDOWS下,不能录音
用了REDHAT后 系统自己驱动后  也不能录音
昨天我打算欢一个驱动程序  
就下了个 OSS
结果失败了  
直接效果就是  听歌的时候有杂音  好像跳音的声音
并且之前没有备份MODULES.CONF
MODULES.CONF里面的内容变成了

今天我有用 ALSA 0.97 重新装了一下
可是问题并没有解决
我现在把MODULES.CONF改成了

现在的状况是这样的:
用XMMS放某些歌曲的时候还会有跳音
另外 有可能XMMS在 播放歌曲的过程中就没有了声音
但是用GNOME的系统设置中的声卡检测 检测一下的话
就有可以工作了  有了声音

希望各位大侠给点意见
如何让我的声卡能继续正常工作
或者能回到我用OSS之前的状态也好

另外想问一下: 如何能让系统自己重新驱动一下声卡
如果那样的话 就肯可能回复到初始状态了 (注:初始状态时音效很好的说)
