显卡安装问题!请各位指教!!

用VM4.0装rh as 2.1 (在XP系统环境下),安装rh的过程中,用系统默认的显卡不给安装，就选择跳过,结果安装之后,不能启动X ,出现如下提示:
execve failed for /etc/X11/X (errno 2)
giving up
xinit: no such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: no such process (errno 3) : server error
用lspci -v 查看硬件芯片信息:
00 :0f .0 VGA compatible controller : Vmware Inc :Unknown device 0405 (prog -if 00[VGA])

请问如何解决该问题呢??
