adsl宽带上网路由设置的问题。

我在安装debian linux hiweed版时，让系统自动设置DHCP没有成功说是无法获得ip。
然后我又用设置了adsl上网在输入我的铁通帐户和密码后，adsl启动了。但是无法上网，ping也不同。

我用ifconfig 查看了一下连接信息如下：

然后我用netstat -r 查了一下。显示如下：

只有这几个表头，显示内容为空，什么都没显示。

我又用route 查了一下

Destinations Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
同样也为空。
是不是说明我没有路由配置？
我又使用route add default ppp0 命令，但是显示错误信息说找不到设备。

是不是我不能上网是因为路由配置没有设置？如果是这样，路由设置应该怎样设置？
一个多月了，换了n个系统，都上不了网。
我应该怎么办，各位大虾，谢谢。。
