The best part of it is that many distros deliver it since it is not comercial,
which means it is tailor-made for your system and less likely to cause any
trouble.
The shortage of helix player is that it can't deal with as many media formats
as realplayer does.
However, you can simply copy the codecs and plugins from realplayer to
helix-player and make it a nice media player.
