rpm软件包问题

我想用linuxconf管理系统，装了软件包以后，不能提示使用，提示段错误。
软件包名称：linuxconf-1.34r3-1.i386.rpm
我是这么装的：rpm -Uvh linuxconf-1.34r3-1.i386.rpm
装完以后下面出现了许多东西：在/usr/lib/linuxconf/....
所以装完以后不能用。
在终端中键入：linuxconf后提示：段错误。不能使用。
我想御载：rpm -e linuxconf 提示：
error:Failed dependencies:
            linuxconf >=1.17 is needed by (installed) gnome-linuxconf-0.65-1
如果要是这样御载：rpm -e linuxconf-1.34r3-1.i386.rpm
         提示：error: package linuxconf-1.34r3-1.i386.rpm is not installed
如果重新安装：rpm -Uvh linuxconf-1.34r3-1.i386.rpm
         提示：package linuxconf-1.34r3-1 is already installed
