parted 太灵活了，硬是没弄明白过。还是用fdisk算了。。：（。。

但fdisk不能(及无损地) resize 某类现有的partition而parted却可以啊

fdisk 为啥不可以呢？
parted 是可以随便指定起始柱头和结束柱头，但是fdisk似乎也可以。

man resize_reiserfs 得到如下信息：
If you wish to enlarge a filesystem, you must make sure you expand the underlying device first. This can be done using cfdisk(8) for partitions, by deleting the partition and recreating it with a larger size (assuming there is free space after the partition in question). Make sure you re-create it with the same  starting  disk cylinder as before!  Otherwise, the resize operation will certainly not work, and you may lose your entire filesystem.

理论上没问题，不过如果兄弟认为不妥，那我再做实验测试。
