装ESS2838驱动出错，怎么办？

我是第一次接触LINUX，装ESS2838驱动时，当运行到sh install后出现
install: /usr/bin/install: cannot execute binary file

PIII733/256MSD/20GWDAB/TNT2-M64/鑫益嘉8738/ESS2838
WINME/XP/REDHAT8.03(4CD, D版的，装上后发现内核是2.4.18-3)
System Commander 7.05 引导(GRUB在LINUX的ext3上)

另外，我的鼠标是双飞燕SWW-19(两键，中间带滑轮)，键盘是厦华彩显送的, 109

键(标准107键盘的左SHIFT键分为Shift,Brazil两键, 右SHIFT键分为Macro,Shift

两键)。我应该怎么选择配置它们？我无法挂载FAT分区，我进入/mnt只发现

cdrom,floppy两个文件夹，应该怎么操作？

redhat linux 8.0的内核是kernel-2.4.18-3 ???!!!不对吧？请你再仔细查看一下。再有，你可以把“sh install”换成“./install”运行。

我的REDHAT包装是8.03, 但我查了system info, 是7.3版的，内核kernel-2.4.18-3，Grub0.91, Mozilla0.99, XMMS1.27, Netscape Communicator 4.79, 我的REDHAT是否就是7.3版的?

我是拨号上网的，无法通过LINUX下载，只有用XP下载三个文件，拷入软盘，再拷入/root/ess, 我的/root下没有download, 我新建了download-->ES2839_2.4.18, 再拷入三个文件

root# cd /root/download/ES2839_2.4.18
ES2839_2.4.18# ls
出现esscom_orig.o fixscript17.txt install.txt
ES2839_2.4.18# sh fixscript17 esscom_orig.o esscom.o
出现fixscript17: fixscript17: No such file or directory
ES2839_2.4.18# sh fixscript17.txt esscom_orig.o esscom.o
出现一大篇，最后一句是fixscript17.txt: objcopy: command not found
ES2839_2.4.18# sh install
出现install: /usr/bin/install: cannot execute binary file

出现bash: ./install: No such file or directory

你的redhat 就是7.3。把fixscript17.txt install.txt 改为fixscript17 install在世一下。

你先用命令tcsh,再编译一次就可以
