[求助] 升级系统后,新内核无法启动

原本准备把rhel 3.0 -> centos 3.0 -> centos 4.0,                                                                                      但是从rhel3.0 -> centos 3.0 后,用升级后的kernel启动出错. menu.lst的配置如下. title CentOS (2.4.21-40.EL)         root (hd0,1)         kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.21-40.EL ro root=LABEL=/ hda=ide-scsi         initrd /boot/initrd-2.4.21-40.EL.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.20-8)         root (hd0,1)         kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.20-8 ro root=LABEL=/ hda=ide-scsi         initrd /initrd-2.4.20-8.img title DOS
        rootnoverify (hd0,0)         chainloader +1                                                                                      感觉参数和原来redhat的一个样,但是启动时候会出现错误,提示大致意思是:
kernel panic, can't mount root filesystem, can't find the root device等等..                                                                                    
现在只能用title Red Hat Linux (2.4.20-8) 来启动.
