［已解决］gentoo安装非root user的问题

gentoo这个东东真是适合我这种爱折腾的人，我从周末开始搞，其中推翻了重来了好几次。今天终于搞定我的显卡ati9600 dual-head display(最新的ati-drivers, ~amd64)，在root下我可以显示中文（我用的是unicode)可以3d加速。 glxgear 有3000fps。可是奇怪用了none root user，我登录了gentoo居然没有中文，firefox也打不开，mozilla－launcher老是报错，然后3d加速也没有了,glxgear 只有99fps。我不知道哪里可以修正这个，难道要把none root user 加入什么gourp?或者哪里多点权限？我用的是AMD64系统，2.6.16.20的kernel。多谢大家指正!

基本上，好像要把用户加入 video 组，要有声音则加入 audio 组。

$groups username 可以看用户的组别

#gpasswd -a username groupname 可以把用户添加到某个组别

中文应该和 locale 设置有关。

我的locale设置好的呀
输入locale给我的都是zh_CN.utf8。我用的是icewm，window manger里面凡是有字的地方都没有显示，英文都没有一个。

那估计是 icewm 的配置问题，如果你用 root 有中文的话，或者把 root 目录下的 .icewm 之类的目录复制过去用户目录下，或者有用。

Wow! I feel terrific! I found the solutions!
I simply chmod -R 755 of /usr/bin then chmod a+s Xorg, and chmod a+s some other critical softwares like gpasswd.  Bang! it works. 3d acceleration, chinese, fireforx ... all come back!
Thanks a lot for your helps! Now I have a fully working gentoo. Sorry for the English,  I'm gonna to set fcitx up.
