准备安装linux，但ifconfig eth0出错，无法上网，请问怎么解决？

网卡型号：Intel(R) PRO/100+ PCI Adapter

当我ifconfig eth0的时候出现如下错误：
eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

# lspci 可以检测到我的网卡：Intel Pro 100 Ethernet

# modprobe e100 和 # modprobe e1000之后再ifconfig eth0均出现如上错误。

然后我ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.105 broadcast 192.168.1.255 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
接着ifconfig，提示只有一个lo网卡，没有eth0！

我该怎么办？请大家帮忙！

当我执行ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.105 broadcast 192.168.1.255 netmask 255.255.255.0 up时，错误信息如下：

SIOCSIFADDR: No Such device
eth0: Unknown Interface: No Such device
SIOCSIFBRDADDR: No Such device
eth0: Unknown Interface: No Such device
netmsk: Host name lookup failure
