登陆得时候分辨率怎么调节啊？

我用的是ubuntu，跟xp组成双系统，最近ubuntu更新后，出现登陆屏幕分辨率过大的问题，显示器出现  输入超出范围  的提示，进入桌面后就正常了，我用的是17寸液晶显示器
有人告诉我修改xorg。conf我不知道怎么修改，高手赐教啊
