关于新的安装盘说明在这!
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=25236
内容如下:
There are tons of known problems with the i686 0.7.2 installer. Most of them are related to hardware trouble, because the installer didn't have any real hardware detection.
tpowa has recently put some work into archboot and mkbootcd and created new isos. These use udev for autodetection, contain more tools than the original install cd, can also be used as a rescue disc for your system and have more up-to-date packages.
They also reflect some changes in the install script and afaik already use mkinitcpio by default instead of mkinitrd.
I've been recommending these to almost everyone on IRC for quite a while and they solve most of the problems of the 0.7.2 (and older) installer. As far as I know, the official x86_64 0.7.2 installer already uses the archboot-based CDs.
These isos have not yet been officially announced, but I still recommend to everyone using them instead of the official 0.7.2 CD, you will run into much less trouble. Download them at http://www.archlinux.org/~tpowa/newisos/ |
