求助，ubuntu中adsl拨号出现问题，google无解答

刚刚安装的6.06，pppoeconf后报出如下信息
Sorry, I scanned 1 interface, but the Access  Concentrator of your provider did not respond. Please check your network and modem cables. Another reason  for the scan failure may also be another running pppoe
查了很多网页都没有解决办法，到底该怎么办啊

。。。。。。。。。这提示还不明显么，不就是说你电缆可能有问题。。
当然还可能modem没开
