CentOS5.2换成ATI X550显卡后X起不来了

从ATI到nv
因为有事,需要将家里的ATI的独立显卡换掉,更换一个nvidia显卡,我是这么做的。
首先关机,将ATI显卡换掉,启动linux系统后系统提示xorg出错不能进入X窗口,于是
cd /etc/X11/

ls
看到 里边的三个配置文件,以及备份文件

于是 rm xorg.conf xorg.conf.livna-config-backup xorg.conf.fglrx-0
三个文件, shutdown -r now 重启后 顺利进入窗口,但是由于没驱动,画面很慢,没有任何特效。
由于安装的新显卡是nvidia的卡也就是俗称的N卡,所以



进入终端



#yum install kmod-nvidia
载入插件: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit

发现xorg-x11-drv-fglrx-libs
xorg-x11-drv-fglrx
这两个包有冲突,所以 yum remove 这两个包,同时yum 会提醒要删除其他的依赖包,不要管
一概删除之。

删除后
重新 yum install kmod-nvidia

安装完毕后 重启 OK le

再单位 同样道理, 只是xorg 下的配置文件可能不同 ,仔细观察 备份 后删除 OK

谢谢回复,问题已经解决了;重新启动,Centos提示我进入x失败,然后又提示我重新配置x就好了~
