我在安装alsa声卡时发生下面的错误

是，也是一样的，可能在第二张盘。建议兄弟找一下，以kernel开头的文件名，并且在文件名中带有source。就是这个kernel-source-2.4.18-14.i386.rpm

编译软件一定不能在windows分区下进行。因为windows分区格式是fat32或ntfs,不支持linux的链接文件。不然你从linux拷一个链接到windows 下试试看？
如果原来是在windows分区下操作，一定要拷到linux分区下操作。如你可操入/root下：
cp -r /mnt/hda1/alsa-driver-0.5.12a /root
cd /root/alsa-driver-0.5.12a
再作其它的操作。

我在/TMP 下试过，也不行，错误同楼上。系统是RH8。0，AMDXP1600+，GIGA7VTXE+，VIA8233卡，后来看站里帖子用了OSS，就是不能看VCD和听MP3

装alsa要先装内核源代码。。像北南兄说的。在第二张盘上找。
比较大。有140多M。
装完它。
我后把alsa的包在ext的分区中解压。
因为fat的分区对大小写不敏感。容易出错。

然后./configure
make
make install
还有一个什么命令。。忘记了。ls一下。看看有什么可以执行。
作用是在/dev下建一些连接。

然后修改配置文件。

There's already kernel source code in my /usr/src,and I copied the alsa in the /tmp directory in ext partion,And I do ./configure,It seems there's some "no" in the check  process,then I do make install,there's some info the same as that described nathaniel,I really don't know why.maybe I'm too foolish.
