"Could not write LILO boot sector"

I was just trying to install Sun Java Desktop System (which is based on SuSe) , but get "Could not write LILO boot sector" error.

I had removed pre Mandrake Linux, still get that message.
Can anyone help?

是不是你在bios中，启用防止病毒功能了？
启用时，操作系统是写不了mbr的

I burned the 4CD again, and it installed grub by default. I am now using Sun Java Desktop System. However my soundcard doesn't work
