这里有一幅截图，截图中的左上部分有我记笔记的软件：

You say you use tex to keep your diary?
And everyday you finish it, you latex and dvipdf to generate it? Then tomorrow you edit diary.tex again, and latex and dvipdf to generate it again... recursive???
Or maybe you only edit diary.tex everyday, and when you want to read it, you generate pdf pattern?

为何要用latex 和 dvipdf 呢？
为何要用pdf格式来看呢？
pdf不能对文件进行修改，不能方便地通过快捷键来展开和折叠目录，不能通过正则表达式快速搜索文档，不能通过快捷键搜索光标所在位置的词，不能对文档内容进行批量处理，不能打开光标所在行的文件。
而这些功能对vim来说只是小菜一碟。
所以，一般情况我从来不生成pdf文件。
vim既是编辑工具，也是查看工具。

不知道上面的能不能支持中文， cire应该是最小的一个了，虽然功能没那么全, 建议试试看。
