6.11 编译 glibc 出错了！

昨天在 linux 下发了一个贴，因为没有中文输入法，所以用的是英文，没人理我，现在用中文重发一次，那个英文贴想删掉，去不知道在哪里删，请版主帮忙删一下吧，谢谢

我按照书上的步骤进行，一切都很顺利，但是在 6.11 编译 glibc 时出错了，确切说是配置就出错

我的机器是：Fedora4    gcc 4.0.0  kernel 2.6.11

按书上的，glibc 我 configure 一下，结果就出现下面的问题

../glibc-2.3.4/configure --prefix=/usr \
--disable-profile --enable-add-ons \
--enable-kernel=2.6.0 --libexecdir=/usr/lib/glibc  

// 这个命令我是直接粘贴的，所以不会有打错的情况

错误如下：

checking for suffix of object files... configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile
See `config.log' for more details.

可是同样一个 glibc ，我前面成功的编译过的呀，这个是什么问题呀？

btw:前面成功编译过的那个我删除了，重新解压缩了一次，我想这个应该没什么影响吧？

把glibc-build删掉,重新建立试试

i have rebuild the directory so many times ,and the error is the same .......

any other methold ?

i have find something maybe the reason for that error

i had read some papers and they said that the binuntils-2.15 can not be compiled correctly,so  i try binutils-2.16.90.0.1.tar.bz2  as they mentioned,maybe it is He cause the error!

today , i use the livecd to compile the binutils -2.15 ,and others ,i back to fedora 4 ,and continue the work ,and now , i pass the chapter 6.11 .....

go on with my work now ^_^

我在装hlfs，在第一个工具链的gcc或glibc安装时补丁用错了（根据回忆），所以在第六章的glibc编译时不认ssp的参数。我选择了重新开始

你也可能是上一章的gcc和glibc出错了:confused:
