grub起动问题

安装了splashutils
grub设置:title gentoo
               root (hd0,4)
               kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/hda5 video=vesafb:1024x768-32@85,mtrr,ywrap splash=silent,theme:gentoo quiet CONSOLE=/dev/tty1
               initrd /boot/fbsplash

能起动,并且东西都正确显示.但是初始化信息里有以下错误
activing possible swap
Could not create needed directory '/var/lib/init.d/softscripts
Could not create needed directory '/var/lib/init.d/snapshot
Could not create needed directory '/var/lib/init.d/options'
Could not create needed directory '/var/lib/init.d/started'

Caching service dependencies...
rm:cannot remove '/var/lib/init.d/depcache':Read-only file system
等显示文件系统是只读的错误信息.
因此虽然能正确起动,但是速度很慢.

哪位兄弟知道怎么解决啊,拜托拜托
