mdv 2007 并没有传说中那么多 bug

现在发现一个最明显的bug 就是，当安装好中文环境后，选择中文介面，输入法为scim时。
koffice ，firefox 等等......不能选择scim 输入，但urpme 后，再urpmi 就可以选择中文输入了。
这个贴就是在2007下发的。

2007还有什么优点楼主说说吧。
现在在公司用SUSE 10。1，在家时用MANDRIVA 2005。
如果LINUX下有LOTUS NOTES CLIENT就好了！

有什么优点我也说不出，要高手试用后才知道。
不过系统的速度快了很多，特别是启动程序时。
如果想系统快点，磁盘格式选择XFS，绝对是比ext3 快的。

天极网7月11日消息(戴寻严编译)据外电报道，当地时间周一，美国软件巨头IBM公司推出了第一款面向Linux操作系统的协作软件Lotus Notes。

　　IBM公司表示，这款面向Linux的Lotus Notes 7.0.1将在本月24日正式上市销售。

　　据报道，这款产品使用了IBM一直力推的“Eclipse开源架构”。在IBM新版的Lotus Notes(内部研发代号“Hannover”)的开发中，也使用了这一开源架构。

　　IBM公司负责Lotus Notes销售的埃德·布里尔表示:“按照原先的计划，面向Linux的Notes原定和(面向Windows和Mac)的Hannover同步上市，但目前我们在德国、印度、中国和巴西的客户需求紧迫，所以提前上市。”

　　IBM公司表示，之所以推出面向Linux的Lotus Notes版本，是因为很多商业用户并没有安装微软或者苹果公司的专有操作系统，也不想因为Notes软件改换系统。

　　布里尔介绍说，目前使用Windows或者苹果Mac OS X版本的Notes用户可以免费迁移到Linux版本。另外，Linux版本的Notes售价和Windows和Mac版一致。

　　此前，IBM公司已经对外透露，下一“Hannover”版本的Notes将集成微软Office中的三大功能(字处理、演示稿、电子表格)，新版将在今年第三季度发布测试版。(完)

Beginning 24 July 2006, Lotus Notes licensees will be able to run Lotus Notes 7.0.1 software on select Linux client operating systems. The option will be available at no additional charge for Lotus Notes licensees on active maintenance.

Lotus Notes for Linux is delivered as Lotus Notes 7.0.1 software packaged with some enabling technology that allows it to run natively on Linux workstations. This additional code is based on virtually the same technology that is the foundation of IBM Workplace Managed Client and will be the foundation for the next major release of Lotus Notes, code-named “Hannover.”

With Lotus Notes for Linux, companies will be able to use Lotus Notes on a Linux workstation in a supported fashion – without using virtualization software like WINE or VMWare, without installing IBM Workplace Managed Client, and without waiting for “Hannover.”

This new option rounds out a complete Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino deployment on Linux – building on Linux support for Lotus Domino server, Lotus Domino Web Access and the Lotus Domino administration client.
