在FC6中启用3D及Desktop-effects的问题!

我的问题是自己不知道在FC6中怎么使用显卡的3D加速功能。

我的安装:

For Fedora Core 6
install FC6 on computer
internal files needed
  kernel-devel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.i686.rpm
  kernel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.i686.rpm
  ati-driver-installer-8.29.6.run
install kernel
  rpm -ivh kernel-devel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.i686.rpm
  rpm -ivh kernel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6.i686.rpm
restart computer use new kernel
ln -sf /usr/src/kernels/$(uname -r)-$(uname -m) /usr/src/linux
ln -sf /usr/src/linux/include/linux/autoconf.h /usr/src/linux/include/linux/config.h
generate driver package
  ./ati-driver-installer-8.29.6.run --buildpkg Fedora/FC6
install driver package
  rpm -ivh kernel-module-ATI-fglrx-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-8.29.6-1.fc6.i386.rpm

问题已解决!
原来 vim /etc/X11/xorg.conf 配置一下,然后 logout 再 login,然后 desktop-effects 就可以了。

看到启动 desktop effects 后就少很多东西。

flrgx --> AMD ATI's Driver
Xgl --> livna's Driver

flrgx not support AIGLX
Xgl support AIGLX
(只对 Mobility Redean X1600 之类的成立)

We have desktop-effects must have AIGLX first.

livna 说了 Xgl 只是 AMD ATI 对 Fedora Core 6's AIGLX 不支持的临时解决。
AMD ATI 将来不能不支持 AIGLX 的,大家等吧!

ATI 的显卡驱动现在不支持 AIGLX,所以很多文章都说在 fc6 上改装 xgl 来迁就 ati 显卡,用 n 卡的幸福。

按照搂主的办法,昨天装了ati官方的驱动,glxgears终于上去了。不过还是不能用aiglx,
以前用过xgl,显卡太次,能玩tuxracer我就满意了。
